I have accumulated a total of thirty-four years of experience in aviation, stretching from design and manufacture, through military service, one maintenance organisation, six commercial airlines and one flight school. I have held a total of 21 approvals – in compliance / safety management / emergency response roles – from 14 national authorities including the UK, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, US, France, Kuwait DGCA, France, UAE GCAA, Korea & EASA. I am very comfortable in international, multi-cultural and multi-lingual environments.

• Design & overhaul of robust, simplified compliance monitoring / safety management systems, emergency response plans plus allied manuals & procedures (ISO 9001 equivalent);
• Design & implementation of safety & compliance policies (inc. continuous improvement);
• Design and delivery of training in compliance monitoring techniques and awareness;
• Management of change;
• Coaching in root cause analysis and implementation of effective preventive actions;
• Negotiation of contracts for flight data monitoring, safety management / compliance monitoring software (all Cloud-based) and for emergency response support;
• Experienced in the configuration and use of CENTRIK, SMS360 and FDM360;
• Briefing and liaison at all levels, including customers and national aviation authorities;
• Experienced across the full spectrum of operations / engineering / maintenance legislation.
